What customers say?

“ Great amazing location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Menu was described in detail. Food is prepared fresh. NO FOOD WAS LEFT LEFT BEHIND. ”

“ This is a new place I tried out, and it didn't disappoint. It looks like it hasn't been open very long, but the people working were very personable and helpful. I ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich with fries and it was perfect. The sandwich was cheesy and tasty, and the fries were actually seasoned fries not just by name. I must confess I didn't get a good look at the menu, but I'd go back to try more of their menu. ”

- Chris Martinez -

“ This truly was the best fried fish po boy I have ever had! The bread was different was your typical po boy French bread; it was warm and buttery and not flaking all over the place! The fish was soo crispy and the price was very reasonable! 10/10 recommend, this might be my new lunch spot because I’m definitely coming back to try all of their po boys and more! ”

“ Classic home cooking in the parish...but this place is hard to beat!! I ordered the Friday special--shrimp pasta with 2 big catfish filets, corn and garlic bread. That meal was fire!!! And plenty enough to share! The wife had a cup of gumbo(it was more like a bowl!) that was FULL of chicken and sausage!! The employees were super friendly and the prices were very fair. Don't sleep on this place. ”

“ Long day of fishing out of Sweet Water Marina (Da Crow). Decided to take a recommendation from YouTube personality Outside the Levees and eat Lunch at Dat Kitchen. We walked in and were greeted by Chef Medah with a smile. She gave us a run down of the special and that’s what we got. A seafood stuffed potato with fried catfish fillet topper. Every bite was delicious and the fish was best ever. Made fresh to order. Please give this spot a try when in the area. Here husband and mother-in-law were amazing. Also go before the school crowd let’s out ”

“ Stopped here for shrimp because of the reviews. I ordered fried shrimp and it comes with more French fries than you can eat and a piece of bread. Food was hot and good! Glad I stopped to try it while camping at St Bernard's State Park. ”
